paintings have purpose. so do the subjects within them.
The Purpose Painting Series is about honoring our families, friends and pets. The Series began for me, shortly after I visited my family in Tennessee (2017). I have the best cousins in the world, and they are the three in my “Peas in A Pod” paining.
I work best from photographs, and can scale the image to any size on the canvas. From the initial drawing, I create the painting. Many times, I work from single images, and have the ability to group the people or pets together in one painting. It’s all in the imagination.
